All BioPed Centres are staffed with full-time Canadian Certified Pedorthists
(C Ped C’s) – all of whom are members of the Canadian Pedorthic Association
and follow a strict Code of Ethics.
We deliver total patient pedorthic care. Each Centre is equipped with assessment areas,
full-service lab facilities and an excellent inventory of fashionable, orthopaedic-quality footwear.
Every patient receives a full biomechanical evaluation including gait analysis, Closed Kinetic Chain testing and range of motion testing. The patient’s lifestyle, activities, relevant medical history and needs are questioned and assessed.
Our Certified Pedorthists use a wide range of casting techniques to manufacture soft,
semi-rigid and rigid orthotics to treat a variety of foot and lower limb conditions. We do not ascribe to a “one-solution-fits-all” patient care formula.
