Treating The Injured Knee

Presented By:
Jeff Rolland, Director of Physiotherapy, Genuine Athletics & Rehab, Surrey, BC
*Biography available below

Join us for a one-hour educational session, “Treating the Injured Knee”.

Knee ligament and meniscal injuries are among the most common musculoskeletal complaints seen in primary care, yet determining the optimal treatment pathway can be challenging. This session will review practical strategies to help family physicians and nurse practitioners identify key clinical signs and recognize cases that can be safely managed conservatively. We will outline evidence-based rehabilitation approaches, bracing options, expected recovery timelines, and red flags that warrant surgical referral. The goal is to provide clear, primary-care–friendly guidance that improves patient outcomes. Attendees will leave with practical tools to confidently guide patients from injury to recovery.
